One never really knows what one has lost until it has gone.

Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche stood firmly as a pillar of the Kagyu lineage for His entire lifetime.  His Mastery and genuine accomplishment within the Buddhadharma – particularly as a beacon for the revered practice of Mahamudra was all too rare in these current times.  We cannot help but feel that His loss as a Protector to the Kagyu Lineage, as a Luminous Scholar and Practitioner, is a great one.

Across the earth, all who have benefitted from Rinpoche’s unwavering dedication to Teaching the pure essence of the Dharma will be feeling His departure keenly.
