Coming to terms with death

Guidance and support session

45 min
30 New Zealand dollars
Nyima Tashi Buddhist Center

Service Description

The ever-present fear of death and lack of contact with death and dying people, it seems it’s important, at least from Buddhist point of view, to have proper encounter with death and also deal with fear of death. Because from Buddhist point of view, coming to terms with death is part of making one’s life worthwhile and making one’s meaningful. So death and life are not seen as completely separate and opposite, but death and life they give rise to each other, or they coexist in a sort of complimentary fashion. So from Buddhist point of view the aim is not to conquer death but to come to accept death and to come to familiarise oneself with one’s sense of mortality and impermanence. This session can be in person or online Group sessions 2-4 people $35.00 (45minutes) Unwaged by donation
