Service Description

We are most honoured and delighted to announce that Lama Chonam and Sangye Khandro will be returning to Auckland in September 2024 to lead an 8-day Retreat. The Troma Chod retreat will emphasise the Ngondro practice of the Sole Mother Troma Nagmo from the Dudjom Tersar tradition. Teachings will include Troma Ngondro and the Troma Feasts of Chod with follow up practice sessions on the same. A concluding Ganachakra ceremony will take place using the intermediate Troma Sadhana. The 22nd September will be an opportunity for retreatants to settle into the retreat environment at St Francis. On the evening of the 22nd Sep at 7:30 pm there will be a welcoming ceremony lead by Lama Chonam, who will deliver a talk on devotion to the spiritual master, approximately 15 minutes from the retreat facility. Retreatants will then be transported from and returned to St Francis upon conclusion of the opening ceremony. Dates: 22 – 29 September 2024 Venue: St Francis Retreat Centre – 50 Hillsborough Rd, Mt Roskill
